7 years ago I founded Bukjeh and hosted a performance with an amazing group of artists at the immigration museum.

Since then Bukjeh’s artists have visited schools, Theatres and have performed at numerous community events. The team has expanded nationally and internationally, connecting to Arabs & Muslims, refugees, migrants and First Nations people from all around the world.

This week APAN is hosting the inaugural Palestinian solidarity conference. Hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds will gather together to learn, organise and connect to other like minded individuals to build a collective resistance around the globe.

Bukjeh will be creating a performance to reflect the stories of the attendees and speakers have been sharing with us. Our team will be writing, rehearsing and creating some beautiful art to share with you on the day. We plan document it and share it with the world soon after the event.

All funds raised will be going towards paying for the artists time and supporting the first Bukjeh team in Palestine ( Gaza and West Bank). Please donate generously and help us bring this vision to life.
