Bukjeh of Hope
At Bukjeh, we believe in the power of community, especially during hardship. As we approach the sacred month of Ramadan, we have decided to launch a unique project aimed at supporting families struggling at home during these challenging times.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to raise funds and provide assistance to small family businesses and farms in Palestine who have been deeply impacted by the current crisis due to checkpoint crossing restrictions in Palestinian territories. Many of these families are facing immense difficulties in selling their products and sustaining their livelihoods.
Through this project, Bukjeh will effectively act as a bridge between these families and people in Australia who are eager to support small business in the homelands and indulge in delicious traditional food and enjoy artistic expressions.
How it works: We purchase the products that these families cannot sell due to various restrictions and challenges. These products, which are often locally sourced and crafted with love and care, are then brought to Australia where they are sold with 100% of profits used to support other families in need back home.
