Bukjeh Lab Space is a safe space for young people to be creative, to collaborate and to develop artistic skills in a culturally safe environment. Bukjeh believes you can express your creativity while staying true to your faith and beliefs.
Bukjeh Lab Space is open to young artists (15-25) who belong to our broader diverse cultural communities. If you want to explore your creativity, you belong here!
The Bukjeh Lab Space aims to nurture our next generation of diverse artists living in Naarm/Melbourne. Young artists will have the opportunity to share their own stories and develop artistic skills through half day workshops followed by a showcase event.Â
Five talented artists will lead diverse workshops, including digital art, creative writing, storytelling, music, calligraphy, and dance. Immerse yourself in this creativity and watch your talents blossom.
After three half day sessions, you’ll have the chance to perform or display your art alongside the Bukjeh Collective. Open to family and friends to attend. Let your art shine!
Three half-day Saturday sessions: February 10, 17, and 24 .Â
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Food and snacks are included.
We want you to come to all three sessions to build your skills and collaborate with others. You will have the opportunity and support to perform, share your work for the community.
The Channel, Arts Centre Melbourne
